We’ve seen several rumors surrounding Asus’ upcoming Zenfone 8 series and now the Zenfone 8 proper has made its way to Geekbench listing. The device was spotted with the ASUS_I004D model number which should correspond to the Zenfone 8 based on a kernel source code breakdown from the folks over at XDA Developers.
The new listing reveals the Zenfone 8 packs a Snapdragon 888 chipset with 8 GB RAM and boots Android 11. The phone managed 1,124 single-core points and 3,669 points in the multi-core department. These scores are on par with other SD 888-powered phones and match up closely with the leaked Zenfone 8 Mini Geekbench scores from last week.
According to previous leaks, all Zenfone 8 series models will bring Snapdragon 888 chipsets and AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rates and FHD+ resolution. For cameras, there's talk of a 64MP Sony IMX686 main cam alongside a yet to be released Sony IMX663 module. The Zenfone 8 series will also bring 30W charging.
Please don't say something like "advanced battery tech like Xiaomi" in front of Sony fanboys. They will get a heart attack from anger :).
i hope its not too thin...9mm thickness + 5000mAh will be a battery monster compact phone!
All I want to know is if they brought back the 3.5mm jack like the latest ROG phone.
